Today, October 10, 2015, in our
Human Geography class with Mr. Schick, we reviewed another one of the five
major religions that we started yesterday but never happened to finish. In
fact, we didn’t even go over the fifth one so we still only have four. Since I
did not blog the information onto my last blog I will put all info on the four
of the five major religions on this blog. Christianity is the largest religion
in the world with 2.2 billion adherents. They are called Christians and are
located in areas such as Europe, the Americas and Southern Africa. The founder
of this religion was Jesus Christ himself. Islam is the second largest religion
with 1.5 billion adherents. They are called Muslims and are located in areas
such as Indonesia, the Middle East, and North Africa. The next religion is
Buddhism. They are known as Buddhists and have from 500 million to 1.5 billion
adherents. Since I’m at 150 words, I’ll blog the next two religions on my next
blog.

Five Major Religions
Today, November 9, 2015 in our
Human Geography class with Mr. Schick, we began a new unit on the five major
religions of the world. I was surprised at how quickly we moved from our unit
on the People Paradox to this one. I find this unit interesting because it
really gets you to think about religion and is there really a God and is our
religion correct. Obviously, I still believe that God is the one and only God
but the topic of religion is interesting to me. Mr. Schick said that he would
send us the power point he presented in class today but I decided to take notes
on it anyway just in case he forgot to send it to us. I took notes on these
five religions: Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and we have not gone over the
next two religions yet and since I am now at 150 words I figure I will fill in
all my notes on the next blog when I have all of the religions.

Quiz Review
Today, November 5, 2015, in our
Human Geography class with Mr. Schick, we got back the test we took yesterday
on the video, The People Paradox. I wasn’t as happy with my grade as I was
hoping to be but then we found out that Mr. Schick accidentally marked us all
wrong for an answer that as a matter of fact was correct. Because of that my
grade was to a score that I am pleased with. Because we didn’t really learn
anything today, I am going to tell you about how awful my week has been. I have
had rehearsal for the show from right after school until 10:00 every day. I
like rehearsal but the show isn’t coming together like I hoped. Also, yesterday
I was sitting in Spanish class and I spilled diet coke all over this sophomore sitting
in front of me. Today, I couldn’t find my tie so I had to borrow one from Mr.
Ireton which was extremely scary.
