India, Japan, and Africa

Today, October 26, 2015, in our Human Geography class with Mr. Schick, we were on part three of this informative yet unfortunate video. We have been watching this video all week now and since Mr. Schick insists that we take notes on the important facts within the video, I am assuming that this is what our next chapter quiz will be all about. I am paying very close attention to everything Mr. Schick is saying because I really want to do well on this next quiz and also because I find what we’re learning quite interesting. The video is covering many different topics. We learned that India’s culture creates a miserable life for women. They are being forced by their husband’s to have many children to make sure they have lots of boys even if it means the wife will die. We also covered the topic of Japan’s huge decrease in population and over abundance of retired people, causing more money to be taken out of the government than put in. Currently, we are learning about the horrible environment of Kenya.
