Last Class of the Year

Today, December 14, 2015, in what is getting to be a part of some of my last Human Geography classes with Mr. Schick. Today, we received our political geography quizzes that we took last week. I am a little bit disappointed with my score honestly based off of the amount of time I spent studying for it. I got a B which again isn’t awful but I know I could be getting better grades in this class. Anyway, we also turned in the essay we spent all of our weekend, when we could have been studying for exams, working on. I feel really good about what I put on that paper and now I really think this exam will go really well for me because there will only be about one hundred questions and no essay.

Political Geography Quiz :):

Today, December 11, 2015, in our Human Geography class with Mr. Schick, we received and took the much anticipated quiz that we have known about all week on political geography. I have to say, like my blog stated on Wednesday, I still have mixed emotions about this quiz and how it went. I think I definitely at least have a B on this quiz because I studied very hard and made a Quizlet and everything. There were so many questions that I know that I got right but like I expected, there were so many questions that I feel like we never even went over the answers to. For instance, one of the questions on the first page said, “Who was born on Christmas and received the authority of Prime Minister from his father” or something like that and I don’t remember ever hearing about that.

Mixed Emotions

Today, December 9, 2015 in our Human Geography class with Mr. Schick, we did our last little bit of preparation for the quiz that we will be taking this upcoming Friday. I am having mixed emotions about this quiz because almost every time that I have felt ready for a quiz in this class I have almost completely failed it but in this case, I don’t feel great about it to start off with. I understand the basics about the countries’ leaders but I just feel like the quiz will have a lot of extra things that we only covered maybe once like it has been in basically every previous quiz. I will definitely review the types of government that each country had because I’m assuming that that will be a major part of the political geography quiz.
